La star de la WNBA est arrivée au Brooke Army Medical Center à San Antonio tôt vendredi matin, où elle sera examinée et recevra tout traitement médical nécessaire.

Des images ont montré que Mme Griner et Bout étaient échangées sur le tarmac d’une piste aux Émirats arabes unis jeudi, après des semaines de négociations entre Washington et Moscou.

Le président Joe Biden a insisté jeudi sur le fait que “nous n’avons pas oublié Paul Whelan” et a promis de “ne jamais abandonner” pour obtenir sa libération, car l’échange a divisé l’opinion à travers le pays.
